Flooding has devastated many communities across Missouri and the US this year. We’d like to draw your attention, in particular, to Levasy, MO, just outside Kansas City, and Ebenezer United Church of Christ.

A flash flood left 9 1/2″ of water in the church, and 2″ in the parsonage. Here’s a look at the damage:

Unfortunately, the church does not have flood insurance and the Federal government hasn’t yet declared Levasy a disaster area. Contributions are very much appreciated. You can send help to: Ebenezer UCC, P.O. Box 48, Levasy, MO 64066.

If you would like to help with cleanup in Levasy or other flooded areas, contact one of these coordinators
