May 31 Virtual Worship (Pentecost)

Today’s Hymns:

Come, Holy Spirit

  1. Come as a wisdom to children, Come as new sight to the blind,

            Come, Lord, as strength to my weakness, Take me; soul, body and mind.

REFRAIN

            Come, Holy Spirit, I need You, Come, sweet Spirit, I pray;

            Come in Your strength and Your power, Come in Your own gentle way.

2.         Come as a rest to the weary, Come as a balm for the sore,

            Come as a dew to my dryness; Fill me with joy evermore,

REFRAIN

3.         Come like a spring in the desert, Come to the withered of soul;

            O let Your sweet healing power Touch me and make me whole.

REFRAIN

Revive Us Again

1.         We praise Thee, O God, for the Son of Thy love,

            For Jesus who died and is now gone above.

REFRAIN

            Hallelujah! Thine the glory, Hallelujah! Amen;

            Hallelujah! Thine the glory; Revive us again.

2.         We Praise Thee, O God, for Thy Spirit of light,

            Who has shown us our Savior and scattered our night.

REFRAIN

3.         All glory and praise to the Lamb that was slain,

            Who has borne all our sins, and has cleansed every stain.

REFRAIN

4.         Revive us again, fill each heart with Thy love;

            May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.

May 24 Virtual Worship

Even as St. Louis County slowly opens, we are continuing with virtual worship to protect the health of our congregation and community. Please continue to pray for healing and unity as the world starts moving again.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

REFRAIN
All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All thing wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all.

  1. Each little flow’r that opens, Each little bird that sings,
    He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings.

REFRAIN

  1. The purple-headed mountain, The river running by,
    The sunset, and the morning That brightens up the sky.

REFRAIN

  1. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun
    The ripe fruits in the garden: He made them every one.

REFRAIN

  1. He gave us eyes to see them, He gave us lips to tell
    How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.

REFRAIN

WE WILL GLORIFY

  1. We will glorify the King of kings, we will glorify the Lamb,
    We will glorify the Lord of lords, who is the great I Am.
  2. Lord Jehovah reigns in majesty, we will bow before His throne;
    we will worship Him in righteousness, we will worship Him alone.
  3. He is Lord of heaven, Lord of earth, He is Lord of all who live;
    He is lord above the universe, all praise to Him we give.
  4. Hallelujah to the King of kings, Hallelujah to the Lamb;
    Hallelujah to the Lord of lords, who is the great I Am.

May 17 Virtual Worship

We are glad to have you (virtually) with us again this week, the sixth Sunday of Easter.

Over the next week, as the world slowly looks outside again, we encourage you to reach out (safely) to friends and family. The power of reconnection will be an incredible healing force as we move forward together.

This week’s hymns:

Be Thou My Vision

  1. Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
    Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art-
    Thou my best thought by day or by night,
    Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
  2. Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
    I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
    Thou my great Father, and I thy true son,
    Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
  3. Riches I need not, nor man’s empty praise,
    Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
    Thou and Thou only be first in my heart,
    High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
  4. High King of heaven, my victory won,
    May I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heav’n’s Sun!
    Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
    Still be my Vision, O ruler of all.

Because He Lives

  1. God sent His son, they called Him Jesus;
    He came to love, heal, and forgive;
    He lived and died to buy my pardon,
    An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

REFRAIN
Because He lives I can face tomorrow;
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

  1. How sweet to hold a newborn baby,
    And feel the pride and joy He gives;
    But greater still the calm assurance,
    This child can face uncertain days because He lives.

REFRAIN

  1. And then one day I’ll cross the river;
    I’ll fight life’s final war with pain;
    and then as death gives way to victory,
    I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He lives.

May 3 Virtual Worship

We are glad you could join us again for this week’s virtual worship, the fourth Sunday of Easter.

More Love to Thee

  1. More love to Thee, O Christ, More love to thee!
    Hear Thou the prayer I make on bended knee;
    This is my earnest plea: More love, O Christ, to Thee,
    More love to Thee, More love to Thee!
  2. Once earthly joy I craved, Sought peace and rest;
    Now Thee alone I seek, Give what is best;
    This all my prayer shall be: More love, O Christ, to Thee,
    More love to Thee, More love to Thee!
  3. Let sorrow do its work, Send grief and pain;
    Sweet are Thy messengers, Sweet their refrain;
    When they can sing with me: More love, O Christ, to Thee,
    More love to Thee, More love to Thee!
  4. Then shall my latest breath Whisper Thy praise;
    This be the parting cry My heart shall raise;
    This still its prayer shall be: More love, O Christ, to Thee,
    More love to Thee, More love to Thee!

Spirit Song

  1. O let the Son of God enfold you with his Spirit and his love,
    let Him fill your life and satisfy your soul.
    O let him have the things that hold you and his Spirit, like a dove,
    will descend upon your life and make you whole.

Refrain
Jesus, come and fill your lambs.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill your lambs.

  1. O come and sing t his song with gladness as you r hearts are filled with joy,
    lift your hands in sweet surrender to his name.
    O give him all your tears and sadness, give him all your years of pain
    and you’ll enter into life in Jesus’ name.
