August Dessert for $1 Bake Sale
The Dessert for A Dollar Bake Sale will be Aug. 24th after worship in Fellowship Hall. If you are able to contribute baked goods, there are small plates and plastic bags available August 10th from Kay Kreder and Aug. 17th from Jan Wirtz.
The money will go to Unleashing Potential (formerly Neighborhood Houses) who have Pre-School Education, Before and After School Programs and Summer Camps for city children. They are concerned about their government funding in the future. Any additional donations will go to this cause.
July Salad Luncheon Fundraiser
A huge Thank You to the providers of the Salad Luncheon and to the amazingly generous donations which are to go to help First Congregational and Pilgrim Congregational UCC Churches which sustained significant damage in the May 16th tornado. We received $440 for them.

April’s Mary & Martha Group Meeting
Mary & Martha joined our friends at Emmanus Seven Pines on Saturday, April 12th to make Easter baskets together. It was a wonderful time enjoyed by all!
A Giant Thank YOU to everyone who donated to our drive last month to fill Welcome Bags for Lydia’s House’s new residents. We received enough for more than 20 bags. It is much appreciated.
February’s Mary & Martha Group Meeting
The Mary and Martha Women’s Group met on Feb. 25th and had a brief meeting in the Multipurpose Room. Jan Wirtz brought us a devotion. We finalized some plans for Welcome Bags for Lydia’s House and then departed for a sweet Tour at Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate. We learned about the making of chocolate candy and that this company now owns Bissinger’s Chocolates.
We got a sample of candy and then shopped in their store!
