Pastoral Search Updates

Each month the Ivy Chapel Council will provide an update to the Ivy community in the monthly newsletter, The Ivy Vine, regarding the search for our new Pastor.  If there are special updates those will also be announced in the weekly KYP’s and posted on the website here.

April Update

This month, with the help of the St. Louis Association Committee, we have begun the process of matching with candidates for the Intentional Interim Pastor position.  We are beginning to schedule interviews with prospective candidates and will continue to move forward in finding the Intentional Interim Pastor for Ivy that will help guide us through this next phase in the church’s journey.

March Update:

This month the committee met with different representatives from the St. Louis Association Committee to help us move forward in this journey.  We discussed what we were looking for moving forward and it was agreed that we should look for a part-time Intentional Interim Pastor.

In the meantime the Pastoral Supply committee has contacted the Rev. Carol Trissell and she graciously agreed to lead worship through May as needed.

The various committees and the Ivy Chapel Council are excited to move forward on this new adventure together as we enter the next chapter in the ‘life of Ivy Chapel’.
