November Blood Drive

Ivy Chapel will again be partnering with ImpactLife for a blood drive on Thursday, Novemeber2nd from 4:00-7:30pm. We hope you can help us to save more lives by signing up to donate through this link .

To help ONE patient, how much blood is needed?
–To help one car accident victim- 50 units of blood up to 10 units of plasma
–To help a Cancer/Leukemia patient- 5 units of blood during cancer treatment, 8 units per week for a
leukemia patient, 10-20 units of platelets for a leukemia patient
–To help one Bone Marrow Transplant recipient- 2 units per day
–To help one Cardiovascular Surgery patient- 5 units of blood
–To help one Internal Bleeding patient- between 2 and 8 units of blood
–To help one Aplastic Anemia patient- 4 units of blood per month
–To help one Brain Surgery patient- 2 units of blood
–Hip Replacement Surgery patient- 2 units of blood
