Prayers and Scriptures
God in Christ Jesus loves all people.
God in Christ Jesus loves you.
Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey; YOU are welcome here.
We ask God to guide and to bless Ivy Chapel United Church of Christ
as this faith community strives to serve in God’s ministries.
We embrace God’s calling for Ivy Chapel United Church of Christ to live as a faith community affirming and loving all people. We are seeking to be God’s Living Church. We rejoice every time a person feels at home and safe here. Of course, our hope is that this always would be. In reality, though, there may be times when unconditional love is not what a particular guest experiences here. In the event this happens, we pray for God’s forgiveness and grace. Extending genuine hospitality to all is a Christian pursuit. As Christ’s followers, we are aware that God is calling us 100% of the time to offer every person grace, hospitality and love. While this is not be something which we achieve without fail; this is the on-going ministry which God calls us to seek – blessing all who come here with God’s true sanctuary, safety and love.
Prayers for God’s presence in the lives of recent Ivy Chapel UCC guests.
We rejoice together that God eternally touches human hearts and moves us to faithful discipleship.
God be with you.
As sisters and brothers in Christ;
