Prayers for all human beings who are in the Middle East; especially civilians living in Gaza. We pray to God that forthcoming actions will not lead to injury or death of more innocent people. An all-out, Israeli military assault on Gaza is not a solution. Brutal, ruthless Israeli retaliation for the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack will not result in security or peace.

Prayers for a major reduction in gun violence. The atrocity of recurring “mass shootings” in the U. S. A. is a grievous circumstance which is unacceptable to God, and God summons all people of faith to take action for change.
